Vocational training is concerned with the information provided to the individual in order to be able to practice a specific work, whether industrial, commercial or agricultural. It can be done by methods of education without educational supervision or education in designated places or in apprenticeships, whether formal or informal. Training in a broad sense is a learning process that enables the individual to master his profession and adapt to his work situations.


The philosophy of vocational training emerged with the development of the industry, to move from then to various fields in agriculture, medicine, education and others, and this philosophy is based on respecting, appreciating and dealing with the individual as a stand-alone unit, and recognizing his ability to conform and resilience with the working conditions in which he is present.


The vocational training aims to benefit from the individual’s capabilities and capabilities and to help him regain his ability to compete and produce, and it also works to develop the individual’s self-confidence and independence in himself, as he innovates and builds because he seeks to invest all the potentials and resources that ensure the achievement of his goal.


As for vocational training, it leads to adequate knowledge of work, correcting misconceptions and meeting the requirements of development and thus improving the performance of employees. Perhaps the combination of qualification and vocational training exists and is logically acceptable, as both seek to enable the individual to acquire the professional skill that helps to face the professional requirements of work, so that he can compete with others in the professional field.

Qualification and vocational training programs can contribute to providing continuous education opportunities for adults through methods that can be used by these programs in addition to the types of these programs. There is a strong relationship linking qualification and vocational training with adult education and continuing education.
